Wednesday, October 31, 2007 \\ Halloween Special first of all, I would like to say...it's been a while sincce I last posted in this blog but heck... reality really catches up with our fantasies sometimes and the least I could do is to go with the flow of life... and one thing's for sure, I really suck with this reality thing 'cause in reality, everything you do has consequences and are bound to be a big hit or a big flop... sadly, almost 90% of what I do in this world flops... the other 10%? it goes to my fantasies... my daydreams... my wishes... ... before I get too cheesy 'round here, I'm stopping this nonsense right away. let's go to Ken Zhu & Iza Calzado's movie... the title of the movie will be "Batanes: Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan" ("Batanes: to the End of Eternity" or "Batanes: at the Ebd of Forever" in English) or simply, "Batanes" ... I'll just squeeze this in... My mom is really annoying!!! I got 80/100 in our PERIODIC TEST in Social Studies and do you know what she just said??? "80 lang?" ("Just 80?" in English) Doesn't she know that that score is really something for me??? I was really happy that I got 80 earlier this day but now... after her "80 lang?" statement, I'm starting to feel what all other students are feeling... the feeling of unwantedness... that certain feeling wherein you put all your effort into something but it's still wasn't good enough... *ehem* I just wanna sing a bit... "I did my best, but I guess my best wasn't good enough." ok, I'll stop now ... back to the "Batanes" thingie The movie will be abput a stranded fisherman from Taiwan (played by Ken Zhu) who will eventually fall in love with a sales girl from Manila (played by Iza Calzado. Ken will be speaking Mandarin in this movie and Iza will speak Filipino. How exactly will they understand each other and more importantly, how will the viewers understand what's going on? (well, of course, we Filipinos can only understand the Filipino part and the Chinese people will only understand the Mnadararin part) Ken is alread here in the Philippines and will stay in 10 days but he will be back in November to promote the movie... I wish I could just walk and say Hi! to him... *stares dreamily into nothing* ... hmmm... will I be watching that movie? sure. will I be a Kapuso because of this movie? definitely not. (but I don't know... if this F4 madness in GMA network will continue, I might not be able to control myself and my pride... well, I said MAYBE!
